As co-chair of the IGG appropriations sub-committee help in funding projects critical to Weber County, including the new Juvenile Court , the ATC-Medical Training Building and capital facilities at Weber State University including the new science building and the Davis Campus classroom building.
Lead efforts to bring more jobs to Weber County including the Home Depot Call Center in the Boyer Business Depot Ogden and several companies now locating in Weber County.
Fought for the health of the children of Utah by passing legislation prohibiting the sale and distribution of synthetic marijuana and sponsored and passed legislation that allowed families to have access to plant extracts for the treatment of epilepsy.
